S3 EP12 Richard and Line | Freedom from Addiction with Honesty and Yoga

a Curious Yogi

“We have both always been searching for something that gave us purpose and meaning, to fill that whole and guidelines to live after.”

Raw. Real. Totally Joyful. Richard Grønlie and Line Sortehaug made a huge impression on me when I met them earlier this year. They are a Norwegian married couple with three kids, they are yoga teachers, and they are addicts.

Their story is one of transformation and redemption. They share their views on life, yoga, recovery and how to handle the ups and downs that will inevitably come our way. Richard and Line walk the talk, they are role models to anyone struggling with addiction, in any capacity. And also a reminder to us all that another way of life is always, always possible.

06:30 Chapter 1 – Wounded soulmates. Honesty. Red lines. One cannot stay sober alone.

15:01 Chapter 2 – Yoga to remove the hooks of suffering. And to be Free.

24:01 Chapter 3 – Giving Yoga, being open, trusting the heart. The Source as the purest energy.

“ It just came to us. I trust my heart with what comes to me through yoga”

35:01 Chapter 4 – Getting stronger through yoga. Ahimsa, Be Gentle to yourself. And breathe.

“When I do bad things, bad things happen. When I do good things and remember to breath, good things happen. There will be tests and challenges that we have to solve but as long as I don’t force or act with anger or fear, things will be good.”

46:01 Chapter 5 – Acceptance. It’s a dance! Don’t force.

About Bobbi

I'm Bobbi, a very curious yogi! I’m also into exploring nature all around the world, creating epic vegan feasts, and apart from being on my yoga mat, I’m happiest when I’m disco dancing my way back to the 70’s!

A Curious Yogi

I’m really excited that you’ve made it here! So, what’s my mission? It’s to support you in uncovering your highest Self and living an expanded everyday life. It’s my mission because I spent 14 years as a lost, addicted, and depressed yogi. And, it wasn’t until I began to put tender, love and care into my daily personal practice, sadhana, that I began to unfold that state of bliss, which is Yog.

I’m here as your guide, and your friend, to help you integrate hath yog, pranaayam, meditation & yogic wisdom into your daily life so you can blossom too.

Hello, friends! I'm Bobbi.

And I'm a

curious yogi.
